By coming to this blog, we suppose you already took some times in our previous blogs and we think those blogs bring you to a new light in term of visual culture and impressed you somehow.
As blogs writer, at first, we thought that visual culture would be something quite serious or something that involve with historical stuffs. Honestly, we did not think it would be this interesting. However, after we have studied and looked up in each topic specifically, we feel exhilarated by the story and the evolution of the culture.
We decided to start our first blog with ‘visual culture around you’ since we want the visitors to feel accustomed as fast as possible to this ‘visual culture’ term. Then we went for something general like ‘beauty’ perspectives in different countries around the world. By this point, the visitors would have visualized visual culture through concepts, pictures or arts on general topics and they would have a new definition for the term ‘visual culture’ in their opinions, which is good since we will provide them many different forms of visual culture after this.
In our opinions, we think visual culture is everything around us that can be seen which has made from a certain idea in a certain society for example an advertisement in any country which made by concerning lifestyle and attitude of people in the country. If people love to see something humorous, we would see many funny ads in the media, that’s the concept.
Finally, we hope that our blogs would help our visitors broaden their knowledge and perspective, we hope that our visitors would look things around in a different angle from before since everything has its own history and culture. In our point of view, knowing about things around us help us in various situations and also make us happy because we could communicate with objects, and know the implication of each visual culture.
