Visual culture is the aspect of culture expressed in visual images. There are so many culture around us even from the very same country or another country. A photo people taken in everyday life is always expressed along with the cultural perspective even though it’s just an image of cake or some sightseeing places. In this post, we will show you the visual culture from around the world which are totally different from each other and how fascinating those cultures are.
Let’s start with Thai culture, here is the picture that can be be implied as one of the bad quality of Thai culture.
From the picture, you can see many bank notes from one hand try to give them to another hand under a certain table. This image is represented one of the Thai culture which is to use money pay for something you want even though it will cause unfairness to other. From the picture, there are around 40 contestants in the Miss USA 2013 show and most of them have a tan or honey skin. In reality, they are not born with that skin color but honey skin color is the color that people there would love to have therefore they let themselves got a sunburn or use a make up to become like that. This is one of the beauty culture in US which we can visualized from the picture.
